Salary :
GENERAL NATURE OF POSITION : Responsible for overseeing and developing the Clinical department in conjunction with the Program Director. Help develop, plan and implement strategies for program continuation and growth Provide clinical training to clinical staff and interns. This position must have a positive and supportive attitude toward the organization and its overall success. Must have the ability to think globally, solve problems and have good decision-making skills, including critical thinking skills.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to one of the employment standards above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
- Proven experience understanding and demonstrated ability to generate revenues for clinical services
- Experience and confidence identifying and implementing evidence based practices
- Experience working in crisis setting with individuals and families
- Program development, evaluation, solid organizational skills, and public speaking
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to work in and adapt the culture of a multi-cultural, community based organization
- Good inter-personal skills, ability to relate well with persons from a variety of socioeconomic and cultural groups
- Commitment to maintain confidentiality
- Understanding of the Agencys mission and culture and the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with staff and clients in all circumstances
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially using Outlook, Word, Excel and customized databases.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Must be knowledgeable of all program rulesMust be knowledgeable of the policy and proceduresTo ensure quality of facility programs and compliance with DAS standardsTo provide supervision and motivations for the employees of the facilityOversee all counselor Interns and House ManagersTo ensure that all staff is properly trained to perform expected dutiesResponsible for staff schedulingResponsible for providing 24-hour coverage for the facilityResponsible for reviewing and approving HH staff timesheetsTo serve as a liaison between clinical staff and clinical directorHold monthly staff meetingsTo facilitate and monitor or to designate recreational activities for the clientsOversee maintenance and general cleanliness of the facilityOversee the order of all household suppliesPrepare for all site visits and audits ensuring the department is in compliance with all codesTo ensure that all clients receive the proper intake (complete NJSAMS,Voucher, etc)To ensure that all clients charts have the correct documentation (group notes, individuals etc.)To ensure that all clients are receiving the proper care allowed by DAS and company policy and proceduresPhysical Requirements :
Ability to lift 25 poundsMust be able to ascend and descend up to three flights of stairs throughout the course of a normal workday.Occasionally required to stand and walk.Certificates and Licenses :
Drivers license and / or reliable transportationCPR and First AidMinimum Associate DegreeOne Year of experience in managingTwo Years of experience working in substance abuseEmployment contingent upon clear fingerprint and criminal history record.
