Role Description
Dallas Country Club is seeking a dynamic and experienced Personal Trainer to support the health and wellness goals of our Club members. Personal Trainers will set the standard for professionalism, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence in all interactions with members and staff. This role includes delivering exceptional fitness instruction and contributing to the growth of the Club’s fitness program through high-quality member engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one fitness instruction tailored to the specific needs of each member, ensuring personalized experience.
- Conduct group personal training sessions effectively, accommodating up to three clients per session.
- Evaluate and assess members' physical fitness, creating detailed plans for achieving their fitness goals while tracking their progress.
- Demonstrate recommended exercises and movements with proper form and technique to ensure member safety and maximize effectiveness.
- Develop individualized fitness programs that achieve optimum results and incorporate activities members enjoy.
- Monitor workout and group exercise spaces for safety concerns and promptly address potential issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility during downtime, ensuring a welcoming environment for members.
- Assist the front desk team with minor gym operations, such as member check-ins and basic troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge :
2+ years of experience required.Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology.CPR / AED certification.CSCS certification is preferred.Current Personal Trainer certification from a nationally accredited institution (i.e. NSCA, ACSM, NASM, AFAA, ACE, Cooper etc.)A customer-centric approach with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.A passion for fitness and wellness, with an ability to inspire members to achieve their goals.Knowledge of the fundamentals of exercise science and fitness techniques.Understanding of nutrition and diet.Strong knowledge of industry trends, fitness programming, and exercise physiology.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.Physical Demands and Working Conditions
