Critical Facility Cleaning Technician

We’re looking for a Critical Facility Cleaning Technician to join our team.

This role is all about keeping mission-critical environments, like data centers and healthcare facilities, running smoothly by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and contamination control.

Key Responsibilities Perform regular and deep cleaning of data centers, raised floors, equipment, and containment areas using industry-approved methods.

Ensure dust, debris, and contaminants are minimized to protect equipment performance and uptime.

Operate specialized cleaning equipment such as HEPA vacuums, electrostatic sprayers, and particulate monitors .

Adhere to ISO-level cleanliness standards and client-specific protocols.

Conduct post-cleaning inspections and document results for compliance reporting.

Coordinate with facility managers and technicians to schedule work without interrupting operations.

Follow strict health, safety, and security guidelines while working in restricted-access environments.

Assist in the setup, cleaning, and maintenance of containment systems (hot aisle / cold aisle).

Report any facility hazards, leaks, or operational issues encountered during cleaning.

What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred. 1+ years of experience in data center cleaning, critical facility maintenance, or industrial janitorial services.

Knowledge of critical facility protocols (data center operations, raised floor systems, contamination control).

Ability to operate specialized cleaning tools and follow technical SOPs.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in high-security, regulated environments .

Must be able to pass background checks and security clearance requirements .

Nice to Have OSHA safety certification or contamination control training.

Experience in mission-critical industries (finance, telecom, healthcare, or government).

Familiarity with HVAC, UPS, or raised floor systems.

Physical Requirements Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and work in tight / confined spaces.

Comfortable wearing PPE for extended periods.

Ability to bend, crouch, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
