Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist , you will play a crucial role in our patients' recovery and well-being. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments
  • Establishing personalized plans of care
  • Delivering care in alignment with physicians' orders and established plans
  • Identifying educational needs of patients and their families, and providing tailored education
  • Planning for patient discharge effectively
  • Communicating with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members to maximize care benefits
  • Evaluating treatment effectiveness and adjusting plans to meet goals
  • Assisting in the coordination of Occupational Therapy services
  • Exhibiting leadership through planning, organizing, and directing departmental functions

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications :

  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (or obtained during orientation)
  • Physical and Sensory Requirements

    We need someone who can :

  • Read, write, and converse fluently in English
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Evaluate and interpret information to make independent decisions
  • Respond promptly to pages and emergencies
  • Lift and transfer patients, exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally
  • Tolerate prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting
  • Demonstrate sensory skills to identify clinical signs and symptoms
  • Remain calm and composed under stress
