Job Duties

• Ensuring all ledgers are correct prior to sending them to the attorney
• All charges have been entered and billed
• Adding the appropriate CPT code / DX if necessary
• Obtaining EOB’s and PIP logs to ensure all payments have been posted
• Posting any missing payments if necessary
• Following up on any missing settlement checks
• Locating and posting any uncashed or unposted settlement checks to the appropriate account
• Contacting attorney office to follow up on settlement checks not received
• Contacting Auto / WC / Health carrier for any denied claims for resolution
• Other duties as assigned

Physical / Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
