Med / Surg RN Job Details

Location : Bedford, VA 24523 (Virginia nursing jobs)

Healthcare Setting : Medical-Surgical Unit

Employment Type : Travel RN

Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts (weekends and holidays as needed)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680 - $1800

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start dates : 10 / 20 / 2025 & 11 / 3 / 2025)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical RN experience

Prior travel nursing experience required

Charge RN experience preferred

Active Registered Nurse license (RN jobs in Virginia)

COVID / Flu vaccination or approved declination required

No local travelers within 60 miles

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Medical-Surgical unit

Float to other hospital units as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including students and new hires

Support a culture of learning and mentorship in a teaching hospital environment

Follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
