About The Position
Job Title : Neuro ICU RN

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must-Have : Epic experience required
Large facility experience required
Description :
Position available in Neuro ICU.
Preferred start for 13 weeks with the option to extend up to 52 weeks by request.
The shift consists of three 12-hour night shifts from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15.
Experience in managing patient diagnoses like stroke, neurosurgery, and complex spine cases is needed.
Skills required include accessing ports, arterial line management, and care of ventilated patients.
Additional responsibilities involve EVD management, interpreting ABGs, and working with patients undergoing therapeutic thermoregulation.
Familiarity with high flow nasal cannula and hypothermia protocols is required.
Teamwork with interdisciplinary support services such as physical therapy and respiratory services is essential.
Patience and strong communication skills are necessary for effective patient care.
Candidates must be prepared to work a minimum of one holiday during the assignment.
