Job descriptionAssess patient symptoms and needs over the phone Provide medical advice based on clinical protocols and guidelines Document patient interactions and maintain accurate healthcare records on an electronic health record (EHR) Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care Provide patient education Monitor patient follow-ups and adjust care plans as necessary Manage emergency calls and provide immediate guidance for critical situations Notify patients of test results as instructed by Healthcare Provider Schedule, and manage patient appointments efficiently Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA Additional duties as directed by Clinical Supervisor Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in Women's Health Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgements Experience with patient education Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience preferred Excellent time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities BLS Certification
Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Phone Triage- OBGYN
At Women's Healthcare Group, we believe all women deserve exceptional care . The Women's Healthcare Group (Quivira and 435) is seeking a full-time skilled LPN to join our patient care team. This individual will be responsible for providing phone triage and medical advice to patients across a range of women's health conditions. This position would be trained in all clinical aspects of the office including working with our physicians and mid-level providers to provide outstanding care in our busy practice.
As a Phone Triage Nurse, your hours would be Monday-Thursday 8 : 30-5 : 00pm & Friday 8 : 30-4 : 00pm, allowing for work-life balance (no overnights or weekends!)
