What You’ll Do

As the Surgical Services OR Manager, you will :

  • Provide nursing leadership for assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Assist in managing preadmission testing, pre-operative, operative, and post-operative staff to ensure quality service around the clock.
  • Collaborate with physicians and departments to meet patient and family needs.
  • Manage resources responsibly while supporting the hospital’s mission and regulatory standards.

    • What We’re Looking ForQualifications :

  • Education : Graduation from an accredited nursing school is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
  • Licensure / Certifications : Must be a licensed registered professional nurse in the state of practice; certification in specialty (CPAN) is preferred.
  • Skills : Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills are essential. Ability to maintain BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certification is required.
  • Experience : Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience in a procedural preoperative and / or recovery room, plus one year of supervisory or charge nurse experience.
