Day Porter –  Position (Seattle / South Sound Area) Company :

• Fikes / ACME Janitorial Location : Seattle, WA, and surrounding areas (Federal Way, Tacoma, Kent, Renton) Schedule : Full-Time, Day Shift Hours : Approximately 35–40 hours per week Pay Range : $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (DOE) What We’re Looking For : Motivated, dependable individuals Team players with a strong work ethic Willingness to learn – no experience required (we train you!) Ability to perform cleaning duties and work independently Position Summary We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of an apartment building’s common areas.
• This daytime role is essential to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
• You’ll be a key part of the onsite team, working independently to keep shared spaces spotless, well-stocked, and presentable throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, mailrooms, fitness centers, and restrooms Clean and restock all common-area restrooms Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust high-traffic areas throughout the shift Remove trash and recycling from common spaces and designated collection points Spot-clean glass doors, windows, and mirrors Monitor and clean exterior areas such as entrances, walkways, courtyards, and parking lots Respond promptly to spills, trash overflow, or other cleaning needs Assist with light cleaning in vacant units during move-ins / move-outs as needed Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to property management Represent the building with a courteous, professional presence in all resident and guest interactions Apply Today   If you take pride in keeping space clean and welcoming, and enjoy working in a residential community setting, we’d love to hear from you!   We actively seek a diverse pool of candidates from a variety of backgrounds, and multicultural candidates are encouraged to apply.
