Looking to apply your distribution lead experience to a purpose-driven, operationally focused and growing warehouse operations team making an impact in the world? The Lead, Distribution oversees diverse material distribution duties to ensure timely and accurate receiving, shipping, inventory and material handling transactions both from an informational (data entry and communication) and a physical hands-on standpoint. Thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the Distribution Lead is responsible for leading & coordination of all distribution activities, operations, and communication with management to ensure conformance to established procedures, and plays an instrumental part in bringing clean, affordable, and modern energy to the world.

Leading & supporting daily operations to maximize productivity and meet daily operational goalsEnsuring completion of daily cycle counts and all inbound and outbound warehouse operationsCoordinating warehouse activities in an effective and efficient manner to satisfy internal and external customer serviceIdentifying distribution issues and reporting them to the appropriate supervisor / managerLeading all inbound and outbound shipment activities including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shippingAuditing shipments prior to packing to ensure that goods match the orderEnsuring proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are shipped with the correct orderLeading the preparation of shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring orderly filesWorking with the delivery drivers inclusive of supporting truck preparation and routing assignmentsEnsuring site compliance with key company standards for safety, facility maintenance, postings / notifications, and other administrative duties as identifiedDriving adherence to company guidelines and promoting a safe working environmentWork with the Supervisor and Shipping on coordinating the scheduling of daily transportationHelp manage receiving transactions and paperworkAssist with the inspections of all incoming freight for damage; follows up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issuesCoordinating with team members to ensure maintenance of material inventory levelsMaintaining housekeeping standards across warehouse, break room, and office space; ensuring these are orderly and organizedInvestigating problems, finding root causes and helps develop solutionsIdentifying, documenting, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvementMaintaining a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work areaPerforming other duties as assigned by the managerRequired Skills / Proficiencies : The DC Lead must have the following skills :
A valid state driver's license is required3+ years of warehouse experience1+ year of inventory control experienceBasic Excel knowledgeProficiency with ERP systems- NetSuite preferredProficiency with WMS systems - RF Smart preferredCommitment to excellence and high standardsAbility to act as a flexible and innovative contributorAbility to operate a Forklift and pass certification (existing certification preferred)Demonstrates versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.Rate : $21
