Service Setting : Outpatient Clinic
Coverage Type : Clinical Only
Coverage Period : 10 / 06 31 / 2025
Clinical Shift Schedule : Mon Wed, 8a 5p (1hr unpaid lunch); Thu (Admin day, remote)

Patient Demographics : Adults with oncologic and hematologic malignancies

Patient Volume / Census : patients / day

Case Mix : All disease types (oncologic and hematologic)

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System : Epic

Office Equipment Available : TBD

Specialty Backup Available : TBD

Support Staff Available : TBD

Reason for Coverage : Coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required : Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Sign and monitor chemotherapy infusion patients

Establish care for new oncologic and hematologic malignancies

Follow-up office visits

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active South Carolina license required

Certifications : Board Eligible (within 5 years)

Experience : Fellowship required

Other Qualifications : EPIC training

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care

Conduct follow-up visits and new patient evaluations

Monitor and sign off on chemotherapy treatments

Manage care for a broad spectrum of hematologic and oncologic conditions

Complete administrative work remotely on Thursdays
