GCU Traditional Campus located in Phoenix, AZ :

  • Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2025 semester (09 / 02 / 2025 - 12 / 14 / 2025)

    • Course : Audio Recording

    This course explores concepts in sound recording for the church. Students gain understanding in sound theory, modern recording techniques, non-linear editing, acoustic principles, and studio etiquette. Students demonstrate proficiency for using digital audio workstations and explore mixing techniques for purpose of producing a recording.

    What You Will Do :

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
  • Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
  • Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

    • What You Will Bring :

  • Masters or above in Design / Technical Theater / Sound Engineering OR B.A. / B.S. in Technical Theater or related field with 5 years professional experience
