• OVERVIEW

River’s Rest Marina & Resort is seeking a hands-on

• Maintenance Supervisor
• to oversee the daily upkeep and functionality of our resort’s grounds and facilities. This leadership role is responsible for the execution of general maintenance, project support, and ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting environment for guests and team members. Working Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, the Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in grounds care, preventive maintenance, and capital improvement project execution.
• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead daily maintenance operations to ensure smooth function of all resort systems and infrastructure
• Maintain overall exterior cleanliness and curb appeal of the resort, ensuring grounds are clean, trimmed, and well-kept
• Oversee routine pool maintenance, including water testing, chemical adjustments, and general cleanliness of the pool deck and surrounding areas
• Perform or oversee electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance repairs to buildings, cabins, RV sites, and public spaces
• Supervise and assist with seasonal landscaping duties : mowing, weed control, leaf blowing, pruning, planting, and debris removal
• Support resort management on capital improvement projects and facility upgrades
• Conduct inspections of maintenance facilities, equipment, and resort amenities to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and project timelines
• Ensure tools, supplies, and resort maintenance equipment are maintained and stored properly
• Provide leadership and training support to junior maintenance team members as needed
• Serve as a key contact for maintenance-related emergencies during scheduled shifts
• QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• 1+ years experience in maintenance or facilities, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Skilled in basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to work outdoors in seasonal weather and lift at least 50 pounds
• Experience in groundskeeping and pool maintenance (CPO certification is a plus)
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment, and small machinery
• Basic computer proficiency (email, internet, Microsoft Office)
• Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently
• Availability for emergency on-call needs, though regular schedule is M–F, 10 AM–6 PM
