Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Anesthesiology MD in Kansas!

About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in Kansas, starting Dec 29, 2025. This opportunity features on-site orthopedic cases with day shifts from 6 : 30 to 2 : 30. The assignment requires proficiency in ultrasound blocks and offers an 8-hour daily guarantee.

  • Schedule : Dec 29, 30, 31, and Jan 2; 6 : 30am – 2 : 30pm; 8-hour daily guarantee

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia services for orthopedic, ENT, joint, sports medicine, neurosurgery, facial plastics, general surgery, ophthalmology, podiatry, and vascular surgery cases
  • Perform ultrasound-guided blocks as needed
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative care
  • Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams during procedures

  • Must hold an active Kansas medical license
  • Board certification not required
  • Strong experience with a range of surgical specialties and ultrasound blocks is essential
  • Hard start date with no flexibility
