We are looking for an experienced and strategic VP / Director of Finance to lead our financial operations in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in financial management, reporting, and cost analysis to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving financial insights, ensuring compliance, and guiding the company through key initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Direct the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Develop and manage financial reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and dashboards to enhance decision-making capabilities.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and production teams to provide actionable financial insights and optimize cost controls.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with a focus on manufacturing costs, project accounting, and inventory management.
• Implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support board reporting, audit preparation, and strategic initiatives to align financial strategy with organizational goals.
• Lead post-acquisition financial integration efforts to establish a robust accounting and finance foundation.
• Monitor cash flow, manage annual budgets, and ensure alignment with long-term financial objectives.
• Provide guidance on financial systems and processes to streamline operations and reporting.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost analysis, inventory management, and project accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Proficiency in developing dashboards and KPIs for financial decision-making.
• Experience with audit preparation and board reporting.
• Solid understanding of cash flow management and annual budget planning.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to partner across departments.
