About The Position

Job Title : Pediatric Echo Tech

Shift : 10 Hours Varied 5x8 Hr

Hours per Shift : 40.00

Experience : Two (2) years current experience in specialty, at least one 13-week previous travel assignment.

License : NM State licensure required.

Certifications : RDCS (PE), RCCS, BLS completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

Must-Have :

• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate the skills necessary to function in the Echo lab.
• Advanced knowledge of congenital abnormalities and imaging equipment, such as Philips and GE ultrasound machines.

Description :

Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required.

Performs pediatric (neonatal to adult congenital) echocardiograms on inpatients and outpatients.

The position requires the candidate to perform echocardiograms on patients of all ages with unrepaired and repaired congenital heart disease, ranging from preterm infants under 500g to complex adult congenital patients.

Fetal echo skills are preferred.

Experience with Merge Cardio PACS is preferred, but training will be provided.

Experience with EPIC is a plus; on-site training available.

Completion of a Bachelor's program in health science or graduation from an accredited program in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) is preferred.
