Role Description

We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for education and mentorship to conduct skills competency checks for new Home Health Aides (HHAs) in accordance with Indiana Home Health Regulations (410 IAC 17-14-1 and 17-14-3).

This flexible, contracted opportunity is ideal for an experienced nurse who enjoys guiding others and ensuring exceptional quality in home-based care.

What You’ll Do :

• Conduct hands-on skills evaluations for new HHAs (typically 1–5 participants).
• Verify competency in key areas, including :
• Vital signs and infection control
• Transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Personal care and communication
• Emergency response and client observation
• Provide constructive feedback and document outcomes per regulation.
• Conduct evaluations in our Warsaw training center or in client homes when appropriate.

Compensation :

This PRN contracted role is paid per training session (up to 6 hours) :

💰 $250 (1–2 aides)

💰 $300 (3–4 aides)

💰 $350 (5 aides maximum)
