Manager, Demand & Supply Chain Planning
An industry-leading organization is seeking a Manager of Demand & Supply Chain Planning to join its growing Supply Chain team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate demand forecasting, smooth product transitions, and uninterrupted availability across a large, fast-moving national network. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in navigating complex supply chain operations.
🔎 What You’ll Do : Demand Planning
- Build and maintain accurate forecasts at both the menu and item level.
- Analyze historical sales, promotions, seasonality, and regional variability to predict demand.
- Partner with internal forecasting and insights teams to refine regional and restaurant-level projections.
- Compare forecasted vs. actual performance and adjust supply plans accordingly.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels, recommend replenishment strategies, and prevent stockouts or overages.Identify potential supply chain risks—such as supplier issues, logistics delays, or weather events—and create mitigation plans.Work closely with supply chain partners to manage capacity, lead times, and safety stock requirements.Track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Lead processes to resolve excess inventory through transfers, salvage, or financial settlement.Relationship Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Food & Packaging, Distribution, Logistics, Finance, and Analytics.Influence partners and stakeholders to follow planning standards, timelines, and quality protocols.Communications
Prepare and distribute forecasts, purchasing commitments, and distributor updates.
Participate in routine internal and external meetings to align all stakeholders on upcoming activity.
🎓 Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or related field OR 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management.Master’s degree is a plus.Advanced Excel skills required; experience with forecasting tools, ERP systems, or supply chain analytics platforms strongly preferred.🌟 Who You Are
