Cleaner (Full-Time Daylight, Evening, and Overnight)

Cleaner Position

All Temps is an internal staffing agency for the University of Pittsburgh. We are currently taking applications for full time cleaner roles for daylight, evening, and overnight shifts. Temp cleaners at the University can sign up for medical coverage the first of the following month after hire. The goal for every cleaner is to obtain a staff position within six months. Once securing a staff role, cleaners are eligible for benefits including a choice in medical coverage, dental, vision, holiday pay, vacation pay, and a retirement match. Cleaners are also eligible for pay increases at six months and one year. The incumbent will be responsible for cleaning and maintenance of University facilities including, but not limited to, equipment, classrooms, offices, and restrooms. Other tasks could include stocking supplies, transporting material, and emptying waste cans and recycling materials. A High School Diploma or GED is required. Child protection clearances are also required for this position.

Background Check : For position finalists, employment with the University will require successful completion of a background check.

Child Protection Clearances : The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks are required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment : PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
