Job Summary :

Schaumburg and North Ave Immediate Care are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in Schaumburg and Addison, Illinois, on a full-time basis. This position will report to the Director of Medical Services and will be primarily responsible for assisting in the delivery of quality healthcare services to our clients. As a Medical Assistant at Schaumburg Immediate Care, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients by providing support and care.

The Medical Assistant position at North Ave Immediate Care offers a competitive salary and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in the delivery of healthcare services to patients in a primary care and immediate care setting
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
• Administer medication as directed by the physician
• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
• Perform basic lab tests such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring
• Monitor patients for changes in health status and report any concerns to the physician or Director of Medical Services
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper medication administration and other healthcare instructions
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
