Job Overview

The new hire will be responsible for :

  • Providing general support for the Nuclear Waste System Planning work program during the Ontario Nuclear Funds Agreement (ONFA) Update cycle
  • Assisting with the further development of the new System Plan software model including PowerBI dashboards
  • Preparing nuclear waste forecasts including the 2027 ONFA Update for Nuclear Finance
  • Supporting stakeholder requests for information.
  • Assisting with the update of the 2024 System Plan report, the 2027 ONFA Update report, and WMF Campus Plan reports.

Qualifications

Education : Must have graduated from a Chemical Engineering program at a recognized university.

Skills and Experience :

  • The candidate must have experience working at a nuclear facility in a prior role
  • Knowledge of nuclear waste management principles is essential
  • Experience preparing nuclear waste forecasts for nuclear liability cost estimates, waste inventory reporting, and storage space planning
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office suite software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
