Job Overview
The new hire will be responsible for :
- Providing general support for the Nuclear Waste System Planning work program during the Ontario Nuclear Funds Agreement (ONFA) Update cycle
- Assisting with the further development of the new System Plan software model including PowerBI dashboards
- Preparing nuclear waste forecasts including the 2027 ONFA Update for Nuclear Finance
- Supporting stakeholder requests for information.
- Assisting with the update of the 2024 System Plan report, the 2027 ONFA Update report, and WMF Campus Plan reports.
Qualifications
Education : Must have graduated from a Chemical Engineering program at a recognized university.
Skills and Experience :
The candidate must have experience working at a nuclear facility in a prior roleKnowledge of nuclear waste management principles is essentialExperience preparing nuclear waste forecasts for nuclear liability cost estimates, waste inventory reporting, and storage space planningA good understanding of Microsoft Office suite software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint#J-18808-Ljbffr
