Registered Nurse - PICU

Anschutz Medical Campus Unit : Level Three-PICU Position Title : PICU RN Traveler Length of Assignment : 13 Weeks Dates : Assignment Dates : 12 / 02 / 25 to 03 / 07 / 26 or 12 / 16 / 25 to 03 / 21 / 26 ONLY!! Shift : 12H Rotating (Day / Night)06 : 45 PM-07 : 15 AM or 12H Nights (6 : 45 PM 7 : 15 AM) Requirements : Float Requirement : As needed Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday, days or nights) On Call Requirement : None Minimum Qualifications : Education : BSN Will consider increased staff experience in lieu of little to no travel experience. Licensure / Certification : Colorado RN license Required Job Qualifications : Experience : 2+ years in a comparable PICU as staff RN Experience caring for patients from birth to 21 years with diagnoses including (but not limited to) : Respiratory : nasal cannula, Trilogy BiPap / CPap, all ventilators Chronic childhood diseases Sepsis, TBI, DKA, seizure disorders Oncology, metabolic disorders, NAT Surgical patients : neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, general surgery EPIC within the last year Equipment Proficiency : Trilogy & Drager ventilators Codman ICP monitors Medfusion syringe pumps Baxter large volume IV pumps Certifications : Required : BLS, PALS Preferred : ACLS Additional Qualifications : Prefer 2+ years staff experience 1 year travel experience in teaching facility PICU Comments : Scheduling Options : Rotating days & nights or Straight nights only No straight day positions available Float Eligibility : Eligible to float to all inpatient care areas (including critical care and acute care floors) Travelers do not float to ED, OR, or inpatient Psych FLOAT : Client reserves the right to float or reassign Personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours and within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility (unless otherwise agreed to in such Personnels individual assignment confirmation). Additional Info : Medical and religious exemption requests are allowed for the 2025-2026 season No RTO approved within the first two weeks of the assignment
