Job description

GHR Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Towson, Maryland.

ICU RN

Provides high acuity nursing care to critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring, advanced interventions, and rapid clinical decision making in an intensive care setting.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage ventilators, invasive lines, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment
  • Administer and titrate vasoactive medications and other critical drips
  • Perform frequent and detailed assessments, responding immediately to changes in condition
  • Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate complex care
  • Support patients and families during critical illness with clear, compassionate communication
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly

    • Requirements :

  • Active state RN license or compact license if applicable
  • Minimum two years of ICU RN experience
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, and rapid response skills
  • Experience managing high acuity, multi system failure, and advanced life support therapies
