The Parts Manager’s main responsibility is to manage and develop the parts business in a cost efficient and profitable way. The parts manager ensures a healthy inventory level that meets the needs of the end customers and the service department and contributes to a profitable business with well-defined targets. This is achieved by a high level of parts availability and parts sales. This work contributes to an optimized utilization of the service shop and long profitable relations with the customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Parts Strategy and Business – Implement and develop the parts strategy in order to maximize the profitability within the parts business.
  • Manage Parts Customer Relations – Build and develop new and existing customer relationships, ensuring availability and prices are being met and delivered to meet expectations.
  • Manage Parts Operations – Work accordingly to standards, regulations, and requirements, comply with policies and procedures, completion of documents and records and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness within the workshop
  • Manage Parts Operations Compliance – Contribute to the environment and culture by bracing acceptance, active teamwork participation, self-peer accountability while committing to professional development
  • Service Department Leadership – Create and foster an environment that embraces acceptance, cultivates teamwork, holds everyone accountable, and steadfastly commits to professional development.
  • Ensuring Accountability – Holding yourself and others to high standards of accountability while creating an infrastructure and transparent culture that supports and measures personal and organizational responsibility and accountability.
  • Customer Understanding & Focus – Demonstrates a strong grasp of customer industries, operations, and business drivers while providing service excellence and tailored solutions that optimize customer profitability.   • Desired Education & Experience

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Relevant work experiences in a dealership / warehouse position
  • Further education in a relevant field
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Forklift License
