Med / Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract

Location : On-site in Biddeford, Maine (zip 04005)

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 15, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed)

Weekend Hours : Included

Float Pool Requirements : Required as needed

Call Requirements : No call required

Electronic Medical Record : EPIC EMR

Dress Code : Scrubs (any color, no offensive language)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2050 - $2200

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Maine or compact state (required for Maine nursing jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)

BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips

Experience with EPIC EMR documentation

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients

Monitor, interpret, and document telemetry data accurately

Utilize EPIC EMR for patient charting and care coordination

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Float to various units within the hospital as required

Maintain professionalism and contribute to a positive, supportive healthcare environment
