LVN - Residential Community

Description :

The LVN (Wellness Nurse / Manager) will assist with the comprehensive delivery of personal care services to residents on a day-to-day basis following required regulatory requirements. The LVN (Wellness Nurse) will also assist in maintaining a physical, social and psychological environment, which will be conducive to the best interests and welfare of the residents.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Servant Leadership.
• Conducts resident evaluations in a prompt and timely matter according to state regulations.
• Oversees and is responsible for all aspects of medication, including but not limited to; orders, administration, storage, documentation and as mandated by the Title 22 as well as Company policy and procedure.
• Assure that all resident caregivers are familiar with the residents' individual conditions and are trained to provide the resident services in an effective, professional, and sensitive manner.
• Monitor's staff performance and compliance with best practices.
• Monitors and maintains vital statistics as required.
• Ensures in house ancillary services, such as x-rays, podiatry, dental, eye care, psych visits etc. are scheduled and the appropriate follow up is completed, if assigned.
• Respond in a timely manner to requests of residents and respondsible parties
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
