Technician III (On-site)

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical / Electronic Technician III to join their Electrical Lab team in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves hands-on work in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced Micro and Nano electronic products and support equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic assembly and testing, as well as excellent fine motor skills for working with precision components. Support the fabrication and assembly of Micro & Nano electronic products Conduct inspections, testing, troubleshooting, rework, and repairs Use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and meters Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches Maintain a high level of precision and quality, working to near-zero defect standards Work collaboratively in a team environment Generate accurate and detailed test reports Maintain a safe and compliant work environment Required Skills : Proficiency with electronic test equipment and hand tools Strong mechanical aptitude Fine motor skills suitable for micro / nano scale work Understanding of J-STD-001 or similar quality standards Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings and procedures Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Preferred Skills : Experience with Cirris or Automated Test Equipment Troubleshooting skills in electronic and electrical systems Familiarity with IPC / WHMA-A-620 Class 3, IPC-610 Class 3, and J-STD-001 standards Ability to contribute to continuous improvement in design, fabrication, and testing processes Education and Experience Requirements : Associate’s degree in a technical field or a minimum of 2 years of relevant technician experience in either a production or prototype environment Benefits : Health Insurance 401k Pay Range : $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
