Senior Project Manager - Block and Plank Construction
The Senior Project Manager - Block and Plank Construction must be a strong leader, an exceptional communicator, an advocate for team collaboration and innovation, and must have the ability to lead, manage, cultivate, and mentor team members to promote their professional growth.
Base pay range
$165,000.00 / yr - $225,000.00 / yr
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading the project team from Pre‑Construction phase through Construction Start Up through Temporary Certificate of Occupancy to Final Close‑Out
- Responsible for successful organization and management of the project to ensure safe, timely, quality and profitable project completion
- Interpret and review proposed designs, architectural drawings and building specifications for appropriateness and constructability
- Interface with Client, Architect, Owner Representative, Consultants, Agency & Funding Source Representatives
- Handle and maintain neighbor and community relations
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company and Owner Contract agreement and deliverables
- Reviewing and managing subcontracts, bid documents, and proposals
- Write subcontractor scope of works for all trades
- Verify and approve the issuance of change orders and contractor invoices for payment
- Verify and approve all vendor invoices
- Handles and completes all punch list items
- Management of all project documentation
- Manages the project budget
- Creates, maintains and executes the project schedule
- Leads and organizes MEP coordination process
- Maintain relations to exceed Client satisfaction and align to client standards

Excellent written and communication skillsProficiency with programs from Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)The ability to work independently as well as part of a teamAble to read architectural plans and specs proficientlyProactive and must have problem solving skillsProfessional and be able to work with all trades, architects and clientsResolves issues effectively and in a timely mannerAutoCAD experience preferredProcore experience preferredExperience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including but not limited to estimating, bidding, preparing, and administering purchase orders and subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, etc.Ability to prepare and submit technical and cost proposalsMust have strong people skills and the ability to interact with Owner, Financing and Design teamsMust be able to maintain relationships with Subcontractors and Consultants on and off the job siteAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of the culture is a mustArchitect, Engineer, Construction Manager or equivalent in work experience background with a minimum of 5 years in the construction industryEngineering or architecture degree is preferredSeniority level Mid‑Senior level
