Description

Represents the laboratory to the public, physicians, patients and offices while assisting laboratory technical staff, receiving / accessioning and / or processing specimens according to laboratory procedures. Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety; environmental and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.

Required Qualifications :

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Coursework / Training - Successful completion of a phlebotomy program through a post-secondary school, college or military program
• Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire or
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
