This position offers the opportunity to provide outpatient, inpatient, and surgical support within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Position Highlights : Provide comprehensive support to cardiovascular surgeons Conduct pre- and post-operative assessments in clinic and hospital settings Perform hospital rounds and consultations Assist in surgical procedures as First Assist (if credentialed / trained) Coordinate patient care plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Document encounters and maintain accurate medical records Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-operative care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings Candidate Requirements : Current licensure as PA or APRN in Georgia Certification by NCCPA (for PAs) or national certification in a relevant APRN specialty (cardiology preferred) BLS & ACLS required Experience in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery preferred First Assist certification or willingness to obtain preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills Compensation & Benefits : Competitive salary and benefits package CME allowance Paid malpractice coverage Relocation assistance (if applicable) Retirement plan options PTO and holiday leave About the Area : Columbus, GA is the second-largest city in Georgia, located along the Chattahoochee River and just 90 minutes southwest of Atlanta.
