SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver

Position Details

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Orlando, FL!

Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Hourly Pay : $27.81 Per Hour

Hours Per Week : 40 - 45 hours per week

Performance Bonus : Pays You $500 Four Times A Year Every Quarter

Paid Training

Schedule : Monday Friday; Rare Saturday's

Start Time : 5 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 AM

Deliver SOLO To : Central FL and East Coast

Route : Local Home Daily

Tractor Type : Day Cab, Straight Truck; Must be able to operate manual and automatic transmissions

Trailer Type : Dry Van 48', 53'; Flatbed

Equipment : Hand Truck, Pallet Jack, Lift Gate

Freight : Touch HVAC Equipment

Endorsements : Hazmat Required

1-2 Years of Flatbed Experience Required

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures
