On-Call Requirements : No

Mandatory Job Requirements :

Residency : Successful completion of an approved ACGME or AOA-accredited postgraduate training program in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

Experience : Minimum 2 years of current experience in an Emergency Department with a pediatric services annual census of 10,000 patients or greater.

Board Certification : Must be Board Certified in emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine.

Life Certifications :

ATLS Certification required.

CME : Completion of 24 months of Continuing Medical Education.

Ultrasound Training : Completion of an on-site training course with a minimum of 16 hours of CME.

Case Logs : Documentation of 24 months of case logs.

CV Requirements : Must have Work and Hospital affiliations listed separately, with Month / Year format.

Certification Requirements :

ATLS Certification

BLS Certification

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine

DEA License

PALS Certification

License Requirements :

Texas Medical License
