Job description

Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Point Pleasant, New Jersey.

Job Description & Requirements

Job Duties

  • Perform diagnostic x-ray exams; position patients and operate equipment.
  • Collimate and restrict radiation exposure appropriately.
  • Perform portable exams (patient rooms, OR, ED).
  • Correctly mark and process images / films.
  • Complete requisitions and required documentation.
  • Maintain x-ray room cleanliness and readiness.
  • Prepare contrast and assist physicians during contrast procedures.
  • Handle basic admin tasks (scheduling, patient instructions, film / record maintenance).
  • Assist patients with movement / positioning; meet lifting / mobility requirements.
  • Follow patient-identification and safety protocols.
  • Float to Surgical Center and Endoscopy as needed.
  • Use C-Arm, O-Arm, and portable machines; work in hybrid rooms.

    • Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program and ARRT clinical requirements.
  • NJ State License
  • ARRT-R
  • BLS certification.
