Location : Austin, TX
Salary : $90K-$130K (salary depends on experience)
Position Overview
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality and safety standards. This role involves coordinating and supervising the work of subcontractors and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead automotive construction projects as our superintendent
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction teams to ensure quality work.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
- Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety standards.
- Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors.
- Assist in the negotiation and procurement of subcontractors and materials.
- Ensure all necessary permits and zoning regulations are adhered to throughout the project.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and punch lists.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction processes, including commercial and automotive projects.Familiarity with design-build, general contracting, and site work practices.Understanding of permitting, zoning, and building codes.Proficient in safety practices and OSHA regulations.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Projects, Excel, and Outlook for project scheduling and documentation.Benefits
