Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join our team! This position will also float to Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI as needed.

The Cath Lab Technologist provides quality cardiovascular diagnostic / intervention services to patients of all ages, under medical supervision.

HOURS : Part-Time or .6 FTE, 48 hours every pay period. Varied day shifts.

Experience / Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare protocols and standards normally acquired through completion of an Associate Degree in Health Sciences, or through equivalent experience.
• One year experience in an active care setting.
• Previous experience in Cath Lab, OR, critical care nursing, non-invasive monitoring, scrub area and personal computers beneficial.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• RRT, RCVT or LPN beneficial.
• Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS) beneficial.
• ACLS certification is beneficial.
• ECG interpretive skills.
• Possesses an in-depth knowledge of Cath Lab monitoring systems.
• Possesses a complete and thorough understanding of the operation of all patient monitors including EKG, invasive pressure, NIBP, SAO2, etc.
• Possesses a thorough understanding of EKG rhythm.
• Possesses a working knowledge of both hospital and department specific computer systems.
