Registered Nurse / Oncology Nurse - Full-Time position\n15 minutes from Tyson Corners, 30 minutes to DC.\n\nGreat opportunity with a Cancer Center in Northern Virginia, where you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate and expert care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. • Outpatient position, Days, no call or weekends\n
• Work in a specialized oncology center focused on providing cutting-edge treatment and personalized care.\n
• Assess and monitor patients' therapy under the supervision of a physician.\n
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central venous access devices.\n
• Provide education and support to patients and families, addressing their physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.\n

• Be able to do the job as described.\n
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, some of it in Oncology\n
• Infusion experience with experience in cancer medication is highly preferred\n
• Oncology certification or willing to obtain\n
• Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing in Virginia.\n
