The patient services representative is responsible for executing various clerical and secretary functions for the diagnostic imaging department : answer and direct phone calls, computer entry of patient data, exam entry, registrations / reception of patients, fulfillment of film requests, patient scheduling, editing of reports, enhancing patient experience by minimizing wait times, and providing other similar tasks.

Minimum qualifications :

  • One (1) year clerical and / or receptionist experience required.
  • Computer / typing skills
  • Use of various office equipment including fax / copier
  • Able to read, speak and write English
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Preferred qualifications :

  • Microsoft Office preferred
  • Medical terminology preferred
  • Experience in a hospital or medical clinic preferred.
