This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical projects within the retail industry, focusing on accounting processes and system testing. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of analytical expertise and a solid accounting background to support our ongoing initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the royalty accounting team to support system implementation efforts.
• Conduct detailed testing processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial systems.
• Analyze and validate calculations to ensure outputs align with business requirements.
• Aggregate and consolidate data from multiple sources into a unified platform.
• Document processes and results, providing clear and concise reports.
• Identify gaps and propose solutions to improve accounting workflows.
• Utilize Oracle Fusion and Alliant systems for efficient financial data management.
• Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality.
• Apply knowledge of debits and credits to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support parallel testing and go-live phases.
