Position : Travel MRI Technologist Shift : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM Location : Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC

Overview

Wilson Medical Center is seeking a qualified Travel MRI Technologist to support its Imaging Department. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images.
  • Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.
  • Screen patients for contraindications and monitor them during imaging.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of MRI equipment.
  • Follow infection control and patient confidentiality guidelines.

    • Qualifications

  • ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent required.
  • Active North Carolina state license or eligibility to obtain.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent MRI experience preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MRI systems and imaging protocols.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
