Job description

Administrator I Position

King County Medic One (KCM1) is seeking a highly productive, detail-oriented Administrator I. This role provides support to senior staff members and manages various programs and databases. Responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to; supporting section payroll functions in conjunction with department Payroll staff, year in advance scheduling, staffing, purchasing, and processing financial invoices. The ideal candidates will have demonstrated skill and experience in building strong, productive working relationships with internal and external customers as well as provide exceptional customer service. Successful candidates will also have knowledge of administrative functions and principles, with experience managing and coordinating projects and fiscal details.

This position is designated as hourly / non-exempt under the regulations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), which means it is overtime eligible. You must receive prior approval from your supervisor before working any necessary overtime hours to meet your position responsibilities.

As an Administrator I, you will :

  • Process purchases via Oracle iProcurement.
  • Process P-Card purchases for six people.
  • Manage vendors and their portals.
  • Process ferry reimbursements.
  • Track amount spent on CPA for Oracle iProcurement purchases.
  • Collect all required documents for education incentive reimbursements and send to payroll.
  • Provide timekeeping data entry in UKG Telestaff, in support of bi-weekly payroll processing.
  • Special events scheduling.
  • Year In Advance (YIA) staffing scheduling.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications to be considered for the position :

  • Knowledge of EMS (Emergency Medical Services) and King County Medic One.
  • Knowledge and experience with King County procurement processes.
  • Knowledge and experience with UKG Telestaff.
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment.
