The Gaming / Slots Analyst supports the Gaming Ops (GO) Management team using analytics to inform data-driven decisions related to the company's global gaming operations.
Responsibilities
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
- Have the passion and grit to become a gaming industry performance expert
- Cultivate communications with Game Operations and Sales teams.
- Use Excel to analyze data and summarize / present to stakeholders
- Leverage SQL and PowerBI tools to identify product and market insights
Dashboards, Internal Reports and External Reports
- Prepare and maintain monthly internal reports for VP / Dir of Slots and Sales Team
- Upkeep of current dashboards and collaborate with BI team for any future updates.
- Collaborate with other department teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain an install base unit list of all active units.
- Manage queue of BI / AI requests from commercial businesses stakeholders
- Maintain the Footprint and Scorecard List
- Continually monitor current performance and work with performance teams on insights to optimize revenues and provide future development recommendations
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, sales, marketing, product management, and IT, to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
- Support all commercial departments by efficiently completing daily ad-hoc tasks
- Utilize all available resources to be an efficient and effective problem solver
- Carry out any projects assigned outside the above-mentioned process by Sr Management and Dir of Slot Analysis
Skills and Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Bachelor's degree in finance, data analytics, data science, quantitative methods, or business preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite particularly MS Excel and PowerBI with advanced knowledge of the functions and abilities withing each software.
- Database and Program languages including SQL, R or Python

- Preference for gaming Industry knowledge or desire to learn about the gaming industry
