Purpose

The Nutrition Course Builder works in close collaboration with OnRamps staff and the UT Austin Faculty Lead to develop the curriculum and related course assets for the OnRamps Nutrition dual enrollment course.

Responsibilities

Work in close collaboration with OnRamps staff and UT Austin Faculty Leads to develop the curriculum and related course assets for the OnRamps Nutrition dual enrollment course.

Create modules, activities, assessments, and other course resources in Canvas LMS; participate in course prototyping, user testing, and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with OnRamps staff members and the UT Austin Faculty Lead to co-develop and implement professional learning assets for the OnRamps K-12 Instructors.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field

Five years of experience teaching at the high school or college level.

1+ years of experience working in professional office environment.

Proficient in Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) or other LMS.

Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders with decorum and tact.

Ability to communicate technical information to lay audiences using a respectful, client-focused approach.

Punctual, reliable, and responsible.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.

Experience with OnRamps Canvas courses.

5+ years clinical or teaching experience at a high school or college level.

Salary Range

$60,000 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions

Position requires up to 5% travel throughout the state of Texas.

Weekends and evenings possible to support course implementation, including during summer, spring, and fall professional learning institutes and enrollment deadlines.

May work around standard office conditions.

Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.

Shared desk environment.

Climbing of stairs.
