Company Description
As a certified medical assistant at Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates, you will work alongside a successful and dynamic team of Providers to support the clinical needs of the center.
Role Description
- Responsible for taking patients vital signs, height, weight, urine specimen and inputting these values into EMR system
- Responsible for obtaining / updating patients chief complaints, allergies, medications, and medical history, then transferring that information into the patients EMR chart
- In charge of prepping / stocking exam rooms for patients visit
- Accountable for cleaning exam rooms and tables in between patients
- Process orders and package specimens to be sent out to labs
- Effectively triage patient calls in a timely manner
- Maintain OSHA compliant lab utilizing protective personal equipment, sterilizing medical equipment and working in a safe manner at all times
- Completes assigned tasks in a timely and thorough manner
