Position Overview : We have an immediate need for Two (2) locum Urologists at the VA Medical Center located in Martinsburg, WV to provide Urology Physician services for our veteran population. This role offers a flexible assignment with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while experiencing the beauty and uniqueness of Appalachian foothills.Position Snapshot : Clinic and Surgical Care : Contractors physician(s) shall provide clinical urology services includingEvaluating and treating patients in an Urological outpatient clinic daily,Seeing patients on consult,Coordinating referral of consults when necessary,Cystoscopies, surgeries and other related urology procedures and basic urological care.Make in patient rounds for Urological patients.Perform cystoscopies in clinicPerform vasectomies, scrotal surgeries, ureteroscopies, transurethral surgeries for prostate disease and bladder cancer. (Robotics, laparoscopies and major complex urologic surgery not required.)Specialty Exams : Provide direct patient care including specialty exams such as compensation and pension, agent orange, etc., as it pertains to urological conditions only.Physician(s) is expected to be able to perform : Lymphatic Major Procedures,Abdominal Major Procedures,I&D Prostatic Abscess,Prostate Procedures,Urethra Procedures,Ureter Major Procedures,Epididymis and Spermatic Cord Procedures,Bladder Procedures,Kidney Major Procedures,Penis Procedures,Scrotum Procedures,Testis Procedures,Endoscopy Procedures,Use holmium laser, ESWL,Able to perform fluoroscopy.Must have completed a residency and be a Board Certified or Eligible Board by ABU.Hours & Schedule : Multiple positions available : 2 open positions for standard business hours : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm,On call hours required are 10 days a month, two (2) which will occur over a weekend (Call for On Call Hours / shifts)Period of Performance : 2+ yearMinimum of 6-month commitmentCredentialling and onboarding takes 4-6 weeks.Items Required for Submission : Current CV without any gaps over 30 days since completion of medical school- written explanations are acceptedOne active, unrestricted State License in any stateCurrent DEABLS- American Heart Association (AHA) required3 Current ReferencesContactValentina PerezSygnetics, Inc.(248) is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business specializing in placing healthcare providers into various specialties positions with recognized federal healthcare facilities across the United States.
