Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Scan and index closing packages delivered by the funding department into the Loan Origination System (LOS).
- Monitor funded loan files to ensure all documents are scanned and indexed.
- Use reports to track and manage all outstanding trailing documents.
- Collaborate with title companies and county recorders to obtain missing documents.
- Audit recorded mortgages and final title policies, requesting corrections when needed.
- Package and send trailing documents to investors, custodians, and other applicable parties.
- Sort and file trailing documents as necessary.
- Resolve custodian exception reports to facilitate final certification of GNMA pools.
- Track, receive, endorse, and ship original notes, ensuring warehouse banks receive completed packages.
- Maintain exceptional customer service and professionalism with all internal and external partners.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED required.12 years of post-closing mortgage experience (other mortgage experience will be considered).Understanding of investor requirements related to trailing documents.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Proficiency in researching county requirements and coordinating document re-recordings as needed.Experience using scanners and imaging software.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).Experience with Byte is a plus.Notary license preferred but not required.Classification : Non-Exempt Pay Range : $21$24 per hour
