Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details :

CVOR Surgical Scrub Tech position specializing in cardiovascular and thoracic procedures

On-call requirement allows for 40 hours per week schedule

1-2 weekend days per month required

40-hour orientation period provided

Work with patients of all age groups : neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Operate in 4 CVOR suites (2 Adult, 1 Pediatric, 1 Hybrid / Endovascular) with 3 total rooms

Required certifications : BLS, CST, ACLS, PALS (must be AHA or American Red Cross certified)

Minimum 2 years of experience required

3 years of open heart surgery experience required

Pediatric cardiac and / or vascular hybrid experience preferred

Epic charting system experience preferred

Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing

Must maintain current state license and Nursys verification within last 2 weeks

Handle complex cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve repairs / replacements, pediatric cardiac surgeries, and hybrid endovascular procedures

Maintain aseptic technique and equipment documentation standards

Work with specialized equipment including cell saver, ECMO, VAD, and laser safety protocols

The organization focuses on advanced cardiovascular care including complex pediatric cardiac procedures, adult cardiac surgery, and cutting-edge hybrid endovascular treatments, providing comprehensive cardiac surgical services to the community.
