Position Summary : NPI Design Engineering Intern 2026Summer Internship Program

Location : Nashua, NH

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom / Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM's globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Design Engineering Intern to join our team. The position will be located in Nashua, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The Design Engineer Intern will support one or more NPI Engineers in all aspects of daily work.

What you'll do : Gain Experience!

• Process mapping / validation analysis against design entitlement
• Time studies / line balancing
• Quality / SPC / defect analysis and risk assessment
• Prototype / low volume manufacturing
• Process design improvement
• Product and process transfer to alternate manufacturing sites
• Manual, Semi, Automated tooling design
• Operator training
• Product derivative design adaptation to current manufacturing processes
• Process documentation creation / revision and Technical paper (TMS ) creation / revision
• Coordination with relating groups :

Program Management, Product Engineering, Development Engineering, Mechanical and Signal Integrity, Geographic Manufacturing Sites and suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS :

A strong candidate will have completed their freshman, sophomore, or junior year in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering. A graduate level student studying engineering, and with a possible interest in design, product engineering, project management, or business related fields.
