As an AP Specialist, you will be a vital part of our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant and fast-paced environment, where you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing accounts payable procedures. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fashion, payroll, accounts receivable, invoicing, entries, ledger, and AP. This role is a full-time, permanent position that requires 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and reconciliation of vendor statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, credit memos, and payment transactions.
• Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system, including updating and managing the general ledger.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Implement and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Liaise with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Collaborate with the finance team to forecast and plan future purchasing costs according to fiscal needs.
• Provide support during annual audits and tax preparations.
