Position Overview
As the Manager of Infrastructure Security, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the security posture of our IT infrastructure. Leading a small diverse team, your primary responsibilities will include owning and enhancing server operating system and hardware firmware patching processes, implementing and maintaining robust server and server hardware configuration management, leading the roadmap for automation configuration tasks, and owning vulnerability management remediation for in scope services. You will work closely with various teams to ensure our systems are secure, compliant, and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities :
Patching : Owning and enhancing patch management processes to ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches. This includes scheduling, testing, and deploying patches across various platforms.
Configuration Management : Owning and enhancing the server and server hardware configuration management process, ensuring that all systems are configured according to industry best practices and security standards. Maintain detailed documentation of configurations and changes.
Configuration Management Automation : Develop and enhance strategy while leading team initiatives to automate server configuration management tasks using centralized tooling including DevOps Tools and Zoho Manage Engine. Develop SOPs along with directing creation of scripts and playbooks to streamline and standardize configuration processes.
Vulnerability Management : Work closely with IT Security team to address issues found on vulnerability assessments and regular scans identifying security weaknesses. Collaborate with relevant teams to remediate vulnerabilities and track the progress of remediation efforts. Own all work and processes for the Zelis Infrastructure team.
Security Compliance : Ensure server and server hardware configurations are in compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC. Participate in internal and external audits and assessments.
Incident Response : Own the investigation and resolution of Infrastructure incidents. Provide expertise in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
Leadership : Lead a small, diverse team of infrastructure security professionals, coordinating efforts across onshore and offshore employees to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of infrastructure support and initiatives.
Qualifications :
Ideally, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in infrastructure with a focus on server operating systems (Windows and Linux), server hardware configuration (Dell Compute and Storage), patching, server configuration management, and vulnerability remediation.
2+ years of people leadership and IT management experience with focus in Infrastructure.
Proficiency in scripting automation runbooks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript and Python.
Strong understanding of infrastructure security best practices and industry standards.
Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication, team building and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified : DevOps Engineer Expert, Red Hat Certified System Administrator, VMware Certified Technical Associate and Security+
Experience with IaaS on cloud platforms AWS and Azure

Base Salary Range
$115,000.00 - $153,000.00
